idea 3 gets reworked

so... idea 3 was losing focus and starting to unravel.
it continued in it's original direction, but became muddled and chunky.

i decided to play the chords on the glockenspiel and idea 3 moved in a different direction
(an admittedly detektivbyrån direction- fine by me)... but most importantly, it moved.
i'm happy with these changes.

this one has been mulling around for a bit, but i'd like to start getting it tighter, maybe more concise? it's got a cheezy computer string section in it now, i'll have to enlist the help of friends for that one.

it's long, but i enjoy it.

but i have four blogs about myself... of course i enjoy it.

day four 一番週の四番日

... and here is "一番キスとコーヒー", (First Kiss and Coffee).

i was going to call it タル　ラッテ, (tall latte) off the sample at the end, but i like this more. i referred to it earlier here and here as "小さいうた" (small song).

John Ngo was kind enough to play drums for me on this one.

We had a line in our japanese skit "でも、レテュムがないんです。" (But he doesn't have any rhythm.) Every time that line came up, i thought of the face Gaelan makes when i try to play drums.


man, i just want to have an army of people playing that toy glockenspiel. think of the album artwork! "The Glockenspiel Army".
